Product Description
Measuring half the size of a traditional ribbon stitcher, CompactStitch is designed to fit where space was lacking for a stitcher before. It’s equipped with basic functions, which makes it extremely easy to operate. The compact, light-weight stitcher is located under the former board. It weighs only 45 kg, which makes it easy to install and remove from its operating position for service and maintenance. Although CompactStitch is designed with basic functions, it uses the same proven and durable technology as the highly advanced Tolerans SPEEDLINER® stitching systems, which ensures a worry-free stitching process.
Features
- For cross-web stitching of compact size printed products.
E.g. tabloid products, mini-Berliner, A3 or A4. For any web width.
- Stitches up to 60,000 cph.
It is designed to stitch every second revolution, i.e. the stitcher completes two revolutions for every ’cut-off’. Thus it stitches up to 60,000 cph. Runs in either straight or skip mode.
- Compact in size and light-weight.
The light-weight ribbon stitcher is half the size of a conventional stitcher with a height of only 100 mm.
- Moves on rails for easy handling.
CompactStitch Ribbon moves on rails to allow better access to the folding cylinder components and make the replacement of consumables and parts easy.
- Modular construction for easy maintenance.
The CompactStitch Ribbon is easy to operate and to maintain, minimizing downtime. The central lubricating system lubricates the cam and major bearings. The stitcher features a service cassette that includes the stitching fork, the wire rest and an easily removable cutting/forming unit. The modular design allows users to change wear parts without having to make any adjustments.
- Easy to use control system.
The control system is extremely easy to operate. It has a compact touch screen integrated on top of the cabinet from where the basic functionalities such as on/off, wire on/off and circumferential adjustment are managed. It includes a counter and an alarm indicator with error codes.
